Aurorus / Applications / Clinical Settings
§ 01 / Clinical Settings

Designed for the full range of clinical care settings.

From the academic medical center to the forward operating base — a single non-invasive instrument for assessing health status, tracking disease progression, and quantifying treatment response.

§ 02
The assessment problem

Changing how the patient is assessed and treated.

Aurorus was built for the assessment problem, not for any particular setting. A non-invasive scan, under seven minutes, no needle, no lab — better informing clinicians and practitioners wherever care is delivered.

Question · 01 Where is the patient now.
Question · 02 How are they changing.
Question · 03 How are they responding to treatment.
§ 03
Where it deploys

Every setting where assessment matters.

Same instrument, same scan protocol, same seven minutes. What changes between settings is the clinical question being asked of the measurement.

Setting · 01

Outpatient clinics & physician practices

Primary care, integrative and functional medicine, longevity practices, specialty consults. Adds an objective measurement layer to the standard visit — particularly useful for patients whose conventional labs return unremarkable but whose presentation hasn't resolved. Serial monitoring lets practitioners track protocol response at intervals previously cost-prohibitive.

Hospitals & inpatient care

Point-of-care assessment at the bedside. Portable, requires no lab infrastructure, operable by nursing staff. Use cases: admission baseline, monitoring during stay, pre- and post-procedure paired reads, discharge readiness — without adding to the phlebotomy burden the patient is already carrying.

Longevity & biohacking

Where the entire premise is intervention and measurable improvement. Aurorus quantifies how a patient responds to each protocol — supplementation, hormone optimization, peptides, training load, sleep and recovery work — with a paired read before and after. Progress that was previously inferred from how someone feels becomes a tracked, repeatable number across forty-nine channels, at intervals frequent enough to actually steer the program.

Rehabilitation & recovery centers

Recovery is where serial monitoring matters most and conventional biomarkers tell the least useful story. Quantitative read of physiological recovery state at admission, throughout the program, and at discharge. The TBI evidence (AUC 0.981) is particularly relevant.

Field medicine & austere environments

Forward operating bases, prolonged field care, casualty transport — and the remote clinics, humanitarian deployments, and disaster response settings where the assessment toolkit collapses to what can be carried. A portable, non-invasive scan with no needles, no consumables, and no specialized training produces a quantitative read of physiological state where previously only observation was available. Triage prioritization, casualty monitoring, and resource allocation all benefit — and the same TBI evidence (AUC 0.981) speaks directly to blast and concussive injury in operational environments.

Rethinking care

Rethinking how care is provided.

Aurorus provides fast and robust data, helping providers improve care throughout the patient journey.

01

Faster assessment of health status.

A seven-minute scan replaces or augments multi-step workups that currently take hours or days. Clinicians see a quantitative read of physiological state across forty-nine anatomical channels in the same visit. Decisions that previously waited on labs can be informed at the point of care.

02

Visible disease progression.

Single readings show where a patient sits today. Serial readings show which way they're moving. Because the scan is fast and consumable-free, retesting is practical at intervals conventional workups make impossible — weekly, daily, before and after a single intervention.

03

Measurable treatment response.

A scan before, a scan after, the same patient on the same instrument. The delta across forty-nine channels answers the question driving most of clinical care: is what I'm doing working.

04

Personalized and optimized care.

A clinician who can see response within a single visit can adjust within a single visit. Dosing, protocol, modality, training load, supplementation — all become tunable against the individual rather than the average.

§ 05
Lower cost of care

The economics of faster assessment.

Where displacement is appropriate — for screening, monitoring & serial tracking

A seven-minute scan with no lab processing and no specialized operator displaces a portion of the assessment burden currently carried by lab work, imaging, and follow-up visits. Where the displacement is appropriate — for screening, monitoring, and serial tracking — the cost difference is substantial.

Place · 01 Serial monitoring

Where the friction of conventional retesting often means it doesn't happen. Aurorus makes appropriate monitoring frequencies actually achievable — and shifts care upstream of the deteriorations that drive cost.

Place · 02 High-volume settings

Where per-visit assessment cost is a meaningful component of overall care cost. Concierge medicine, executive physicals, longevity practices, sports performance programs, and value-based care models see direct economic impact.

Place · 03 Resource-limited settings

Where lab access is expensive or unavailable. The calculation here often isn't reducing assessment cost — it's making assessment possible at all.

§ 06
The early diagnosis question

Forward, carefully.

We do not make early-diagnosis claims — additional regulatory clearance required

Aurorus can register physiological abnormality before it shows up in conventional biomarkers. In principle, that makes it a measurement capable of supporting earlier detection of disease — and our validation evidence already points in that direction.

We are deliberately careful with this claim. Aurorus is currently FDA De Novo cleared as an electrophysiological measurement system. The clearance authorizes the measurement, not interpretation as a diagnostic. Application of the device as an early-detection tool for specific diseases requires additional regulatory work.

That work is on our roadmap. With appropriate clearances, the same measurement that supports the current authorized uses could support earlier detection of conditions where current screening tools are insensitive, invasive, or absent. Until those clearances are in place, we do not make early-diagnosis claims.

For the record · placed deliberately FDA De Novo · DEN150004
Aurorus is
  • An FDA De Novo cleared (DEN150004) electrophysiological measurement tool that provides quantitative data on electrophysiological and related bioelectric signals.
  • A general wellness and research tool that offers insights into an individual’s physiological and autonomic nervous system activity.
  • A fast, non-invasive way to track changes over time in response to wellness practices, lifestyle interventions, and other therapies.
  • A complementary technology designed to support practitioners in functional and integrative settings.
Aurorus is not
  • A diagnostic device for any specific disease or medical condition.
  • A replacement for conventional medical diagnostics, imaging (MRI, CT), or clinical laboratory testing.
  • Immune to all biological variability — factors such as age, medications, recent meals, and acute states can influence readings and must be considered in context.
  • Intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
  • A standalone clinical decision-making tool — results should always be interpreted by qualified practitioners alongside other clinical findings.

Aurorus is an electrophysiological measurement system cleared by the FDA under De Novo classification (DEN150004). It is not an in-vitro diagnostic and does not replace clinical judgment or laboratory testing where required.
