§ 01 / Hospitals & Clinics

Rethinking the patient journey, starting with the first seven minutes.

Imagine every visit beginning the same way — a quick, non-invasive scan that hands the clinician an objective read of the patient before the consult starts. One assessment, run by a nurse or technician, no lab, no needle, under seven minutes, to guide the care and decisions that follow. We believe a scan like this should be the first step of any visit — and a mandatory annual.

§ 02
A new first step

What if every visit started with a baseline?

Today, most visits start close to a blank slate — a few questions, a blood-pressure cuff, and the patient's own account of how they feel. The objective data, if it comes at all, arrives after the visit: labs sent out, imaging scheduled, a follow-up booked.

Aurorus flips the order. A single seven-minute scan at intake gives the clinician a quantitative read across forty-nine systems before they walk into the room — so the consult starts from evidence, not from zero.

The idea · 01 The first step of every visit.

Scan first, then consult. The physician reviews an objective baseline before the conversation begins.

The idea · 02 A mandatory annual.

One standardized read a year, building a longitudinal record of how each patient is actually changing over time.

The idea · 03 Run by a nurse or technician.

No physician time spent on the assessment itself. The scan is captured by support staff and ready when the clinician is.

§ 03
The patient journey

The same visit, re-sequenced.

Five steps, one of them new. The scan slots into the front of the visit — and changes everything that comes after it.

Arrive & check in

The visit begins as it always has — no new burden on the patient, no preparation, no fasting, nothing to remember the night before.

2
Nurse / technician · ≤ 7 min · new step

The seven-minute scan

Before seeing the physician, the patient rests their fingertips on the sensor. A non-invasive scan captures a read across forty-nine systems — no needle, no specialist required. Support staff run it; the physician's time is untouched.

3
Physician

An objective baseline, in hand

The clinician reviews a color-coded, system-level read before the consult. The conversation starts from data — what's in range, what isn't, and how today compares to the last scan.

4
Shared decision

Targeted, optimized care

Decisions are guided by objective signal rather than guesswork. The deeper workup is ordered where it's warranted — and skipped where the read is already clear. Care is tuned to the individual in front of the clinician.

5
Follow-up

Re-scan to evaluate

At the next visit, another scan. The delta shows whether the treatment is working — turning "how do you feel?" into a measurable answer, and closing the loop on the plan.

§ 04
What it changes

Better for the patient. Better for the practice.

One objective read at the front of the visit pays off in four directions at once.

01

Less time and pain for the patient.

No needle, no fasting, no waiting days for results. A faster, gentler visit that can resolve in a single appointment instead of a string of follow-ups.

02

Care that doesn't need a doctor.

Because the scan is run by a nurse or technician, the assessment costs no physician time. Clinicians spend their hours where they're needed — on judgment and decisions, not data collection.

03

More optimized treatment.

With an objective baseline in hand, care is matched to the individual — the right workup, the right intervention, adjusted against real signal instead of population averages.

04

Better treatment evaluation.

A scan before and a scan after answers the question driving most of clinical care: is this working? Response becomes a tracked number across forty-nine channels, not an impression.

§ 05
Lower cost of care

The economics of starting with a scan.

Lower cost to the patient — and to the clinic and hospital

A seven-minute scan with no lab processing, and no physician time displaces a portion of the assessment burden currently carried by lab work, imaging, and repeat visits — and shifts care upstream of the costly deteriorations that early signal can catch.

≤ 7 min
Per patient · at intake · operated by support staff
No physician-minutes spent on the assessment itself, no reagents to stock, nothing to send to a lab — the cost structure of the read is fundamentally different from the workup it can stand in for.
Lever · 01 Lower cost per assessment

Run by a nurse or technician, with no lab processing, each read costs a fraction of the multi-step workup it can appropriately stand in for.

Lever · 02 Caught earlier, treated cheaper

An objective read at every visit — and a mandatory annual — moves detection upstream of the deteriorations that drive the largest downstream costs.

Lever · 03 More physician throughput

Freeing clinicians from data collection lets a practice see and serve more patients with the same staff — capacity that compounds across a hospital or system.

§ 06
Forward, carefully

What it is, and what it is not.

The "first step of every visit" is the future we're building toward — stated honestly alongside what the device is cleared to do today.

Aurorus is
  • An FDA De Novo cleared (DEN150004) electrophysiological measurement tool that provides quantitative data on electrophysiological and related bioelectric signals.
  • A general wellness and research tool that offers insights into an individual’s physiological and autonomic nervous system activity.
  • A fast, non-invasive way to track changes over time in response to wellness practices, lifestyle interventions, and other therapies.
  • A complementary technology designed to support practitioners in functional and integrative settings.
Aurorus is not
  • A diagnostic device for any specific disease or medical condition.
  • A replacement for conventional medical diagnostics, imaging (MRI, CT), or clinical laboratory testing.
  • Immune to all biological variability — factors such as age, medications, recent meals, and acute states can influence readings and must be considered in context.
  • Intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
  • A standalone clinical decision-making tool — results should always be interpreted by qualified practitioners alongside other clinical findings.

Aurorus is an electrophysiological measurement system cleared by the FDA under De Novo classification (DEN150004). It does not replace clinical judgment, laboratory testing, or imaging where required.
